Lodge Enameled Cast Iron is cast from molten iron in individual sand molds.  Each cast iron piece is first coated with black matte enamel and then two coats of porcelain enamel. This Cookware can be used on gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops as well as in the oven. The porcelain surface eliminates the need to season cast iron.
